Service Description

CasaCheckup is an AI-powered tool that helps homeowners track maintenance history and analyze home issues. Features include photo-based issue diagnosis and optional extraction of maintenance details from uploaded images and PDF files (for example, receipts and invoices).

For maintenance extraction, PDF analysis is limited to the first page.

Important Disclaimers

• Not professional advice: Diagnoses are generated by AI and are not a substitute for professional inspection, assessment, or repair by licensed contractors, plumbers, electricians, or other qualified professionals.
• No guarantee of accuracy: AI analysis may be incomplete or incorrect. Always verify with a qualified professional before taking action on any diagnosis.
• Extraction limitations: Maintenance extraction results may be incomplete or incorrect, and PDF extraction analyzes only the first page.
• Cost estimates are approximate: Estimated repair costs are rough guidelines and may vary significantly based on location, danger score, and other factors.
• Emergency situations: For emergencies (gas leaks, flooding, electrical hazards, structural collapse), contact emergency services immediately. Do not rely on this service for emergency guidance.

User Responsibilities

User Responsibility for Shared Content

When you create and distribute a shareable link, you acknowledge that:

• The shared content may be accessed by third parties.
• CasaCheckup does not review or modify the content before it is shared.
• You are responsible for any personal or sensitive information included in the shared content.

CasaCheckup is not responsible for the consequences of sharing links that you voluntarily create.

Limitation of Liability

CasaCheckup and its operators are not liable for any damages, injuries, or losses resulting from:

• Actions taken based on AI-generated diagnoses
• Inaccurate, incomplete, or delayed diagnoses
• Service interruptions or technical issues
• Unauthorized access to your account

Use this service at your own risk. The maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service (if any).

Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you upload (including photos, receipts, and PDF files). By using the service, you grant us a license to process uploaded content to provide diagnosis, extraction, and maintenance history features. The AI-generated outputs and service interface remain our property.

Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service. You may delete your account at any time by contacting the administrator.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
